Review : "E-Ball" A PC of Future

Review : "E-Ball" A PC of Future

Who says a PC has to be rectangular, or even square? Designer Apostol Tnokovski thinks the PC world is round, and conceived this 6-inch orb-shaped number as his proof.Again technology at its best. I have never seen such thing before. How about taking whole computer in your pocket all the time. okovski thinks the PC world is round, and conceived this 6-inch orb-shaped number as his proof. Not only is E-Ball oddball shaped, it’s called “the smallest PC ever made.”

This ball predicts the future of computing. You might have seen many things like this but the unique feature of this ball is that when it is closed, no one can guess that whole computer is hidden inside this ball. When you will open it, you will find a complete set of display screen, virtual keyboard and a mouse.

This ball is known as E-Ball and its design is given by Apostol Tnokovski. He was trying to create the smallest PC in the world when he came across this idea.It is shaped like a sphere because in Tnokovski’s opinion this is the best shape in nature and it draws everybody’s attention.Tnokovski’s opinion this is the best shape in nature and it draws everybody’s attention.

you'll see the pop-out laser mouse, a pico projector inside that illuminates either the wall or a sheet of paper for a screen, and that laser keyboard that would almost certainly be a clumsy input device. Fix that, and find a motherboard that’ll fit inside this palm-sized baby, and Apostol might be onto something here.E-Ball will feature a dual core processor, 250-500GB HDD, 2GB of RAM, integrated graphic card and sound card, 2 x 50W speakers, HD-DVD recorder, wireless optical mouse and laser keyboard, LAN and WLAN card, modem, Web cam and integrated LCD projector.

Also, the E-Ball PC supports a paper holder and the paper sheet on the holder could act like a screen where you can watch movies or something. This concept PC will measure 160mm in diameter and it was designed for Microsoft Windows OS, sorry about the others. For the moment there is no word on pricing or when it’s going to be available, however, I am sure that everybody would like to see a small spherical PC like this one.

How would the future computers look like? If we are to factor in the continuous miniaturization that applies to most of the IT&C devices, the future PC might end smaller than a current memory chip, so we could be implementing them inside our brains or everywhere in our bodies. But until we actually get to fuse with computers and possibly create a new and improved version of Homo Sapiens, we ought to stick with more familiar shapes and sizes. Up until now, PC cases had to be rectangular or square at most. Apostol Tnokovski, however, thinks that PCs of the future will go through a phase of roundness, And thats E-BALL.

I wonder what kind of motherboard would fit that sphere-like PC. How about a list of connectors? We’ll see about these issues whenever this concept gets materialized, if it ever gets materialized.
