Full Review

Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 beta brings a fresh perspective to treating two indispensable features of a modern Web browser: the URL bar and search bar -- usually found in the top right-hand corner of popular Web browsers. Well, Internet Explorer 9 beta combines the URL bar and standard search bar into one, and places them at the left most part of the browser's navigation bar.

Check out the side-by-side comparison between the changed interface of Internet Explorer 9 beta from Internet Explorer 8:

"Overall, a big improvement in terms of user interface and website compatibility with the new Internet Explorer 9 beta."

Search and URL bar is fused into one in the Internet Explorer 9 beta.

Internet Explorer 9: Tools, Favorites

The new Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 beta repositions favorite and tools button on the browser, compared to the Internet Explorer 8 browser version.

Internet Explorer 9 beta: New Download Manager

The new Internet Explorer 9 beta comes with a better download manager than IE8. The new, improved download manager of IE9 allows you to pause and continue downloads -- previously unseen on Internet Explorer 8 or any other version of the browser.

Acid3 Test: 95/100 for the Internet Explorer 9 beta

This is just to confirm what we saw on the leaked video last week. The Internet Explorer 9 beta scored 95/100 on Acid3 browser test on my office machine -- a big step ahead for the Internet Explorer browser, undoubtedly.

Overall, a big improvement in terms of user interface and website compatibility with the new Internet Explorer 9 beta. And my initial hands-on experience suggests the browser's fast. Download and try it for yourself.
