Review - Samsung Impression Smart Phone

Review - Samsung Impression Smart Phone

The Samsung Impression is the first phone on the U.S. market with a screen that uses organic light-emitting diodes rather than liquid crystals. Since OLEDs emit their own light, rather than filtering a fluorescent backlight like LCDs, they can save on battery life and provide better image quality. The Impression has a 3.2-inch touch screen capable of showing very saturated colors and dark blacks, and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. AT&T will sell the phone for $200 starting Tuesday. OLEDs have shown up before in camera displays, and Sony sells a small, expensive OLED TV.

Samsung release the Impression new model for AT&T. It’s touch screen smart phone with 3.2-inch display and 3M pixel camera module.

Some other features of Samsung Impression are full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, HSDPA, TouchWIZ user interface and Accelerometer.
There is no price available yet.

Samsung Telecommunications America showcased Impression cell phone during CTIA Wireless 2009 event in Las Vegas earlier this month.
This is the first AMOLED-powered handset that is commerically available in States.

Features include an ultra-brilliant 3.2-inch AMOLED display with WQVGA resolution and enhanced full touchscreen user interface, a customizable widget bar, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for quick and convenient text messaging, an integrated 3 megapixel camera module with 3x digital zoom capability, and video share function.

Moreover, it comes bundled with PC Studio Manager software and support for AT&T Mobile Music.
