Perl Terms
Provides a few Perl terms and definitions.
- Boolean - A variable that is either true or false.
- CPAN - A collection of free Perl modules available on mirrored web sites across the world. CPAN stands for Comprehensive Perl Archive Network.
- Environment variable - A system variable created by the operating system or web server which can be used by Perl programs.
- Variable - A way to store data in Perl. Perl variables are scalars, array, and hash.
